SWDP Proposed Modifications – Consultation

The consultation on the Proposed Modifications arising from the uplift in housing numbers has now closed.
……………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Monday October 6 2014 – 5.00pm Friday 14 November 2014

Please note that we will now accept representations until 9.00am on Monday 17 November, in order to reflect a full six week calendar period. However, any representations received after this deadline will not be accepted.

At the Council meetings held on 30 September 2014 the three South Worcestershire Councils agreed to undertake formal consultation into the proposed uplift in housing numbers in the SWDP. This was brought about by the need to revisit targets after the SWDP Inspector, Roger Clews, expressed his concerns over the level of housing being proposed to 2030 in the Plan Submitted in April 2013.

This consultation is entirely focussed on the proposed Modifications to be placed before the Inspector for examination once the next stage of hearings commence in early 2015.
