Publication of the Inspector’s Report into the South Worcestershire Development Plan

On 4th February 2016 the Planning Inspectorate issued the South Worcestershire Development Plan (SWDP) examination Inspector’s final report. This report , which concludes that the SWDP (as modified) meets all the soundness and legal compliance tests, as of 5 February is now published and is available to view below:

The next stage is for each of the South Worcestershire Councils i.e. Malvern Hills District, Wychavon District and Worcester City to consider formally adopting the SWDP. The Inspector’s Report will be going forward with a recommendation for adoption at each Council on 23rd February 2016 (Worcester and Malvern Hills councils) and 24th February (Wychavon council). The relevant Council  reports will be available to view on each Councils’ websites from 15th February (Worcester and Malvern Hills councils) and from 16th February (Wychavon council). You will be notified of the outcome here on the SWDP website, ( and each Councils’ website) and individuals on the consultation database will be informed.
